Today everything is going digital with no exception to the recording process. We use both ProTolols 10 & Logic Pro track all of our artist recordings.

As soon as a client beings to record we start we start a process that is called a premix. This gives an artist a better understanding of what the end product will sound like before the finishing touches have been added. To do this we use one of the best digital mixing consoles, The PreSonus Monitor Station.

Every great song starts with a vocal recording and to capture the perfect take we use Audio-Technica's AT4040 condenser microphone. The AT4040 has the ability to preform like the pros.

To really take control of vocals we use 560A compressor DBX by HARMAN. Capturing sound is just one element this peice of gear really makes it pop.

Speakers that sound "good" on first impression are great, but here at North North Recording we look for accuracy. That's why we chose Yamaha's HS80M reference monitors.
